Q22: If a project by an NGO should span several years, will the Grant continue?

A: JFGE Grants are awarded annually based on the fiscal calendar of the government, and the grants must be squared at the end of each fiscal year.

There are probably projects that will continue over a number of years among the global environmental conservation projects of NGOs, but it is necessary that these projects be approved on a year-to-year basis and that application be made for expenses during that fiscal year only.

It is requested that these long-term projects submit the entire project plan during the first fiscal year the application is made. If so, then the JEC, with the understanding that the project can be expected to proceeds appropriately and smoothly, can more easily give appropriate consideration for the continual funding when application is submitted for the Grant the following year.
