Q30: If a NGO were to acquire land, what expenses would be covered by the Grant?

A: The acquisition of land is included in the land costs included in the construction cost of structures category in the expenses detailed in JFGE Grant Policies and Procedures.

The decision will ultimately rest with the details of the specific project. Some examples of land costs that may be covered by the Grant include seedling raising facilities for tree planting activities, observation and protection facilities for wildlife protection activities, and other buildings necessary to carry out Granted activities.
