Outline of Research and Development

In order to use recycled plastics in cars and home appliances, it is necessary to establish and standardize high-quality production processes for recycled materials.
Furthermore, for use it in a various other products, close collaboration with manufacturers and recyclers is important, as is visualizing the recycling process through a digital system.
We are planning to develop and standardize processes for the production of high-quality recycled materials that can be used in cars and home appliances to achieve our goals.
For the purpose, we analyze the quality of recycled plastics, build a data bank of recycled plastics for PLA-NETJ, search for manufacturing conditions (sorting, washing, extruding, compounding) by improving purity and quality, and reduce contamination and odors.
